Tailored to business needs – providing learners with essential digital skills

A large percentage of existing and start-up businesses do not have the necessary skills required in the digital age.

Digital skills are becoming increasingly essential in business, yet there is still a digital divide, where up to 12.6 million of the adult UK population lack basic digital skills.

Many people are unable to perform the more simple digital tasks and are certainly not in the position to help promote or run a business effectively online. As most SMEs do not have the budget to employ a digital agency, it is imperative they learn to do it themselves or employ someone that can!

The government and LEPs have made this a priority area and put responsibility onto schools, colleges and training providers to come up with a solution.

We believe we have the solution...

Our programme, Digital Promotion for Business. MarketSmarter has produced a suite of digital media units that are designed to tackle this problem and support small businesses, not to mention individuals looking to improve their job prospects.

All our courses are tailored to business needs and will provide learners with essential skills in SEO (search engine optimisation), data protection, online transactions, and social media to name but a few. It can be accessed online and is therefore suitable for distance learning, which makes them more attractive and accessible to businesses and individual learners.
